Why didn't the united states Not complain about the construction of the Berlin wall in 1961

Very likely, if they had tried they would've created awar. The wall was built in Eastern territory, not Western. President John F Kennedy agrees. "A wall", he said at the time, "is a hell of a lot better than war." Plus, the Iron Curtain was already in place. The specific problem with Berlin was that it was the easiest place to escape from East to West.
